September selection. 09/29/2011
It's been a very busy month, so much so that I've actually taken very few photos; in fact, it's pretty much unheard of that one roll of film survives more than a couple of events but this month a single roll has seen over four different locations!! So here's a random selection, a mixture of film and digital, from September. Out and about in the Hunter region. Out and about in Sydney...... .....and some beach time at Terrigal. Testing another cheap Russian m-mount lens. This time a $40 Jupiter 50mm f2. It's sharp as can be, another bargain winner. A great Saturday night of Rollerderby (this time seen from the suicide seating) and The Herd. Lastly, the remnants of tweed!! Certainly a busy and unusual month, especially thanks to my new friend! Add Comment Canberra Tweed Ride - 4th Edition. 09/05/2011
Well it was the fourth Canberra Tweed ride on Saturday, from what I remember it was another fantastic day out on the paths, parks and pubs of Canberra. As usual I was lucky enough to meet a new bunch of people; tweed never ceases to amaze me with the wide selection it attracts. So we began at Gorman House, where introductions and bike snobbery ensued; before we headed off to Olim's, Edgar's, The Front, All Bar Nun and then the lake for a relaxing sit down where we imbibed in food and drink as the sun went down. Natural selection saw only a hand full of us make it to civic and then it seems I may have been the last man standing as I joined Holly and Ian out at Dickson for a dance or two before retiring home. What a fantastic day it was; I'm glad to present my version of events in the form of the following captures. More pics to come from the Leica, damn slow photography..... | ContactThank you, your message has been sent
