Was lucky enough to catch up with the Adelaide fixie guys for a ride last night. We met up at my favourite city pub, the Exeter on Rundle St, before roughly following the rail line to the coast at Brighton.

Someone managed to nail a mountain bike rider head-on, so while we waited for word on whether they'd be joining us Rick decided to show us his stuff. pretty impressive, even the falls look good!!

To the bottle-o at Brighton for long necks of our favourites, then some of the tastiest chips in town before we relaxed on the grass. The sun disappeared and the guys continued on (I went home as I only lived around the corner!). Hope to do the same next week.

Headed out with the guys again, same meeting place but this time it was a ride up to Brown Hill Creek.

After a couple of beers we headed out of the city by passing a bottlo for refreshments, then it was a long gradual climb through Brown Hill Recreation Park before we stopped to devour our new beers. Rick couldn't wait........

A chill quickly came over the hills so we decided to head back downhill, much spinning took place before we reached Mitcham for some chips in the back alley behind a fish and chip shop (thanks to Dan's shop owner friends no-one was left hungry or thirsty).

A fun ride under city lights brought us to the Wheatsheaf for......more beer. My plan to stay for one was dashed as I found my bike was at the bottom of the pile of bikes.....a good excuse to enjoy two more.....
