Shopping. 01/05/2010
Had a great morning shopping in Adelaide today. What did we end up with? 2 large Turkish bread 1 dozen large free rang eggs 1 chrome bicycle pump 400g Black Forrest Ham 2 punnets chilli olives 1/2 a dozen large juicy carrots 400g Australian Cheddar 1 triple flute bicycle horn 2 HUGE mangoes 1 punnet large cherry tomatoes 1 pair white Joinit grips (Made in Adelaide) 8 Juicy nectarines 300g ham off the bone 7 Pink Lady apples 1 Giro Skyla helmet with pink, gold and cherry red flowers 1 packet water crackers First we found ourselves at one of our favourite breakfast destinations before a morning of shopping at the Central Markets, the T-Bar. Then we let loose in the markets buying everything we so desired! On the way home we stopped by a new favourite of mine, The Classic Bicycle Shop. Specialising in 'classic bicycles' the shop is full of authentic steel bikes manufactured in India just as they have been since the nineteen thirties. I'm not kidding when I say there is not a single modern thing on these bikes, including the occasional side pull braking system. They have even had custom tyres made in the original gummie colour, can't wait to see a pair fitted. I picked up a triple horn (cars will be getting out of my way with this thing), a chrome pump for Steve and a pair of white grips made in Adelaide. When in Adelaide visit Barney at the shop, you wont be disappointed. Oh, and we stopped by Super Elliot's to buy Rach a new helmet so that we can take her new bike out. More to come on that one....... Comments Your comment will be posted after it is approved. Leave a Reply | ContactThank you, your message has been sent
